I’m Ashley Turner, aka The Trixta, I’m a highly experienced close up magician based here in Northampton. I have been performing as a close up magician in Northampton for almost 20 years at venues such as Highgate House, Whittlebury Hall. I never tire of watching the reactions and sheer amazement my close-up magic brings to my audiences.
Magic tricks performed up close have an outstanding impact as people watch me very carefully to try and figure the tricks out which helps to build an even bigger surprise! Whether you call it sleight of hand, close up magic or illusion - it never fails to amaze people.
My magic shows are contemporary and cliche-free, so I promise no rabbits, no hats & no playing card ties.

WEDDING MAGICIAN NORTHAMPTON
Having a magician at your wedding is a fantastic feature for keeping all of your wedding guests entertained, filling the gaps in between the main events of your special day. With many of your guests meeting each other for the first time, a wedding magician is the perfect way to break the ice and get them talking. ‘The Drinks Reception’ – The ideal ice breaker, I will mix and mingle with your guests showing them my incredible close up magic.
‘The Wedding Breakfast’ – Table magic never fails to engage & amaze guests. Each table will see their own mini magic show!
‘The Room turn around’ – Post wedding breakfast there is a natural ‘lull’ where energy levels drop due to delicious food and wine, so my magic will help energise the room and fill the time before the evening's entertainment.

I have been entertaining audiences as an MC, compere and magician in Northampton for well over 15 years and have a proven formula for entertaining guests at corporate events both close up and on stage.
It takes a lot of experience and skill to put on magic show at this level. I can perform to a large audience and then give your guests a more personal magician experience by combining table magic, plus mix 'n' mingle magic. I have a wealth of experience as a corporate magician performing at conferences, awards ceremonies and trade shows for a number of including Northampton Police and Santander! So I know how to wow audiences on all levels from years of putting on these shows and also compering comedy nights.
