I'm Ashley Turner, also known as The Trixta, I’m a highly experienced close up magician. Born and bred in the Queens Medical Centre, I have been amazing the people of Nottingham with my magic for almost 20 years at a number of venues including Nottingham Forest itself!
Close up magic is easily the most engaging form of magic possible and after all these years I still love watching people's reactions and their sheer amazement when performing close-up magic tricks before "their very eyes".
Illusions, sleight of hand, close up magic, whatever you choose to call it - it never ceases to amaze. The close up magic shows I present throughout Nottingham are contemporary and cliche free! So my promise to you is, no rabbits, no hats & no playing card ties.

WEDDING MAGICIAN NOTTINGHAM
Making a wedding magician a part of your special day is an excellent way to help your guests get to know eachother as they get talking about the unbelieveable tricks they have just seen! I’ve found that the best times for wedding magic are as follows:
‘The Drinks Reception’ – The perfect ice breaker to bring your guests closer together, I will mix and mingle with your guests showing them all outstanding close up magic.
‘The Wedding Breakfast’ – Table magic never fails to amaze people. Each table at the wedding breakfast will get to meet the magician and receive their own little magic show; this brings a real personlised touch to your guests and is guarunteed to get them talking.
‘The Room turn around’ – After the wedding breakfast there is a natural ‘lull’ where the energy in a room drops thanks to the delicious food and wine. Bringing in a magician at this point will energise the room and fill the time before the disco or wedding band commence.
In my years performing magic I once performed as a magician at Nottingham Forest Captain, Chris Cohen’s wedding! I was also named the 'Best Wedding Entertainment option for the East Midlands' in the Wedding Industry Awards 2016.
